The next meeting of the Yuen Ren Society will be in March, 1996,
in conjunction with the 206th Annual Meeting of the American Oriental
Society, in Philadephia. This will be an open panel discussion of a
number of original reports on Chinese dialects, all of which will appear
in the next issue of the Society’s journal, the _Treasury_. Submissions
are now being accepted.
The final deadline for us to receive your preliminary materials is
24 September 1995. (Please send it to us sooner if at all possible!)
After anonymous review, you will have until the end of the year to submit
your final draft, which will be published in the next issue of the
_Treasury_. The _Treasury_ will be available to all conference
participants in plenty of time for them to have read it before the
conference.
