I want to type the ISO 8859-1 character set (code values 160 -255) by
using the ISO 8859-1 code values.

The problem is if I user Alt + (code value) the character
corresponding to code value in the US ASCII table is printed and not
the one in ISO8859-1 table.

I know ISO 8859-1 and ASCII are same for codes until 127 but after
that the mapping changes.

Could you tell me how to type ISO 8859-1 characters (160-255)
directly, using key combination on US ASCII keyboard and without doing
manual table look ups between ASCII and ISO8859-1 tables.
